Senior Network Engineer

Verium is looking for a Senior Network Engineer that can establish network information requirements and develop an enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure. Desired skills include:

·         Ability to design architecture that includes software, hardware, and communications to support requirements.

·         Ability to design architectures that can align to present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.

·         Able to ensure that network systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI), and the International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles of standards—such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model—as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solution of the network layers.

·         Passionate about ensuring that network systems are compatible and in compliance across the application program interface (API) and the external environment/software application.

·         Able to ensure that the network and transport layers of the common operating environment are compliant.

·         Ability to analytically and systematically evaluate problems of workflows, network usage, organization, and planning to subsequently develop appropriate corrective action.

Position requirements include:

·         10 years of experience developing enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructures and establishing network requirements through analysis.

·         Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or Mathematics and an active TS/SCI clearance

·         CCNP Collaboration certification.

·         Ability to provide daily supervision and direction to staff.

·         Specialized knowledge of Multiprotocol Label Switching, Border Gateway Protocol, Virtual Routing and Forwarding, VSOM, CISCO ISE, and Palo Alto Firewall.

·         Active TS/SCI eligibility
